South Side Theatre Academy are excited to announce October auditions  for our biggest production ever 'Les Miserables: School Edition' performing at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse, Walton in March 2025. Young performers will spend the start of 2025 in rehearsals with our professional production team, learning, rehearsing and then performing the revolutionary musical!

South Side Theatre Academy is on the lookout for young actors, singers, and dancers aged 11 to 18, who have a passion and drive for theatre to bring this inspiring story to life.

Les Miserables will take to the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse stage from the 22nd-23rd March 2025. Auditions are open to new and existing members ages 11-18 (who will be in secondary school from September).

All those wanting to audition MUST attend an audition. At this audition students will be taught a short routine, some scene work and then be taught a section of a song. For those wishing to audition for a principal role, you will be required to sing a section of a song solo, from one of six options, which can be found in the audition information pack below.

  1. First download and read the Audition Pack carefully, which contains details of fees, rehearsal dates and shows!

  2. Then complete the registration form below, selecting your audition date and time. We will then email you to confirm your audition slot. All audition participants must be registered before attending the audition day. Audition booking closes on Friday 27th September, but may close earlier if a high number of auditions are received early. So don't hang around.
