Calling all passionate young performers aged 11-18!

South Side Theatre Academy are on the lookout for 11-18 year olds take part in an unforgettable opportunity, performing in the epic 'School of Rock' as part of our Summer 2026 Musical Intensive!

School of Rock: Young Actors Edition is part of our Summer Musical Intensive 2026 which takes place from Monday 10th-Friday 21st August 2026 (weekdays only) in Surbiton, ahead of taking to the stage for two unforgettable performances at the ACT Theatre in Kingston on the 20th & 21st August 2026.

This is an incredible opportunity to work on a hit musical this Summer and perform at a professional theatre!

AUDITIONS & REHEARSALS

Students will join us on day one on Monday 10th August 2026 at Tolworth United Reformed Church, Surbiton. That very morning, we will audition the students before casting. Once cast, students will get to work working with our amazing Creative Team, bringing the show to life across the following 2 weeks.

Every young person signed up to the project will receive a part in the show, with every student
given their moment to shine at some point during the performance.

PROJECT DATES

Rehearsals: Monday 10th-Friday 21st August 2026 (weekdays only) at Tolworth UR Church │ Shows: Thu 20th & Fri 21st August 2026, 7pm at the ACT Theatre, Kingston.

Recommended audience age: 3+

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break but we cannot guarantee admittance into the performance.
