South Side Theatre Academy are excited to announce October auditions for our second epic Pro Production 'Legally Blonde' performing at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse, Walton from the 21st-22nd March 2026. Young performers will spend the start of 2026 in rehearsals with our professional production team, learning, rehearsing and then performing the fabulous musical, alongside a live orchestra!

South Side Theatre Academy is on the lookout for young actors, singers, and dancers aged 11 to 18, who have a passion and drive for theatre to bring this inspiring story to life.

AUDITION INFO:
Auditions are open to new and existing members ages 11-19 (who will be in secondary school from September, or taking a gap year).
​
AUDITION PROCESS:
All those wanting to audition MUST attend an audition session on either the 8th or 12th October 2025. At this audition students will be taught a short dance routine, some scene work and then be taught a section of a song. For those wishing to audition for a principal role, you will be required to sing a section of a song solo, from one of the options, which can be found in the audition information pack below.

Following auditions, we may then invite some auditionees to call-backs on the 15th October. If you are not invited to call-backs this doesn't mean you haven't been cast, it just means we saw everything we needed to see within the original audition.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR AN AUDITION?

First download and read the Audition Pack carefully, which contains details of fees, rehearsal dates and shows!

Then complete the registration form below, selecting your audition date and time. We will then email you to confirm your audition slot. All audition participants must be registered before attending the audition day. Audition booking closes on Friday 3rd October, but may close earlier if a high number of auditions are received early. So don't hang around.
