Minis (Rec-Y2)

Our Mini Academy allows our young performers to start to explore their imaginations

Juniors (Yr3-6)

Our Junior Academy for years 3-6 allows our young members to flourish, focussing on developing a range of skills in the theatre from musical theatre to comedy to improvisation, through the likes of drama games, script work and exercises.

Seniors (Yr7-10)

Our Senior Academy classes is our advanced drama class for all abilities, providing an in-depth, professional and imaginative set of classes exploring everything theatre has to offer.

Young Company (Yr11+)

Our Young Company is our advanced drama rehearsals class for all abilities.

About South Side...

We are an award-winning, cutting-edge theatre academy aiming to break down barriers, empower young people and increase diversity in youth theatre through affordable access to exceptional theatrical training. We offer weekly classes, holiday projects, LAMDA classes, productions and Schools and Youth Club workshops, in Surbiton and Esher for 4-18-year olds.

At South Side you will receive a unique experience, as not only will you receive outstanding coaching that isn't solely your typical acting, singing, dancing, but also be able to put that into practice with every class performing a full scale productions each year, including plays and musicals, with student nurturing at the centre of all we do!

With classes starting from the ages of 4, we believe the opportunity to experience the stage is one like no other, which is why our classes and projects are open to everyone with subsidised places available for all classes and projects for those who require them, without losing the quality of training!
